VTC 6201 - fanless Embedded Computer for railway!

IPC2U presents the VTC 6201 Transportation Computer. This computer was specially designed for utilization on railway. As railway carries a lot of people and goods, it often builds the backbone of a country transportation infrastructure. That is why it is important to secure its proper and reliable operations. VTC 6201 matches perfectly to this requirement.
Every train is exposed to permanent vibrations. Despite of it, the computer must provide reliable functionality as well as 100% network connectivity. Therefore the VTC 6201 is equipped with 2x SIM card slots and screwed Ethernet Ports. By these 2 SIM cards signal losses can be countered, because 3G signals can significantly weaken e.g. in countryside. Moreover, if a train crosses a boarder between zones which are provided by different network providers, it can also cause signal loss. The screwed M12 Ethernet Ports ensure that LAN connectors do not come off in the case of vibration and shock. If needed, the VTC 6201 can be provided with a chassis compliant with IP65 protection standard, ensuring robustness against dust and water.
Thanks to its Intel Atom Dual Core D510 1.66GHz CPU, the Transportation Computer VTC 6201 provides a comparatively high performance with low power consumption. With its 8V – 60VDC power supply the VTC 6201 can be connected to power sources with different voltage. So, it can be used in cars as well as in trucks and railways.
